Romance and Adventure in Costa Rica
Costa Rica is full of luxurious elements for a romantic getaway. From sand, sun and sea, to volcanoes, waterfalls and rich jungle foliage, there is an indefinite number of ways to combine romance and adventure. 1 – Depending on where you are staying, you may be able to book a romantic horseback riding trip on the beach or the rainforest where you?ll be able to enjoy magnificent waterfalls.
2 – Hiking in the rain forest is offered by many tour companies and resorts.
3 – Boat tours can be really lazy and romantic. If you are staying near one of the river areas, this can be a very romantic outing.
4 – Perhaps a little less romantic and more adventurous would be a white water rafting tour for both experienced and non-experienced paddlers.
5 – Plan a day of snorkelling together followed by some sun worshipping or daydreaming together under the palm trees that line all the beaches.
6 – There are numerous hot springs that you can try together for some relaxing warm water therapy. Many of the hot springs areas have on site spas where you could also go for a relaxing massage and some extra personal TLC before meeting up again.
7 – There is plenty of night life to be enjoyed in Costa Rica. Dance, dine, celebrate, or even try your luck at a local casino.
8 – If you want a romantic adventure combined with a little adrenalin rush you can take a Canyon Trek and repel into the canyon right through rushing waterfalls.
For a truly romantic holiday, there is definitely no place quite like Costa Rica. Whatever you choose to do remember, the romance really comes from doing what you love to do together!
